AM Sketch:Musician-
I had some fun playin' around with this guy. I tried incorporating a sense of rhythm in the lines with him to stay consistent with the theme of this week's topic. I also tried to give it some boricua culture with the cuatro, the ruffled shirt and the hat but I don't think it's coming across very well... maybe if I removed the feather... I'll try to do some more sketches if I have some extra time from my short.

Man I can say how fantastic this is. When I saw the topic I totally thought Hirschfeld. You nailed this!
I read your post and almost got upset you didn't mention Hirschfeld then ya did at the end. Whatta save.
I don't like the overlapping fingers on the right hand so much but the style will forever be sweet! Great thick 'n' thins!

anyway, nice drawing Dan. That line is so flowy, so fluid, it's like I can almost drink it, like, it makes me hungry for some spaghetti. Yeah, that's it, it makes mr hungry and thirsty, so if that's wat you were going for, it works!
