Animation Showdown!

At Animation Mentor, a fellow student (Jeff Kim) has started this animation thing over the break where we have 3 hours (and about 60 frames) to animate our idea based on a topic that he supplies. It's a great way to get in some foundational practice that focuses on strengthening your idea rather then worrying about polish. The topic of this piece was "I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU ANYMORE." This is what I came up with after 3 hours of planning and blocking.

Nice work Dan! And thanks for letting us check out the thumbnails. They were a quick reminder of how much thought goes into the smallest parts of an animation perfomance. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one.

That animation is really working! And the movement looks really cool! Thanks for putting up the sketches too, it's always nice to see what was the development process.
