Peanuts Teaser

I am proud to be working on such a charming film with so much history and so far most people seem to be responding pretty well to the stylistic choices. It's still early in production but it's definitely been a fun project to work on.

Rio 2 TRAILER

The first FULL Rio 2 trailer is out! I have a few shots in there too. I animated the shot in the beginning with the guys playing the ukulele and drums. I also animated the Luiz (the bulldog) shots near the end of the trailer. They actually cut it up so it's shorter and in pieces for the trailer. And I animated a quick shot at the end with everyone jumping up and cheering. This movie has been fun to animate on. Can't wait to see how people respond to it!

Currently on RIO 2

After working at BlueSky for the past 2 years, I am really enjoying it as if it were still day 1 when I had just started on Ice Age 4.  It's such a great studio with an awesome atmosphere and I'm happy to be here with all these crazy peeps.

I'm also excited to currently be animating on Rio 2. Check out the first teaser that recently came out animated by a bunch of my cool friends... Drew, Trevor, Andrew, Munn, Lluis... aaand not sure who else was involved, but have a look for some animation goodness.

Yogi Trailer

The Yogi trailer is up.
Check it out!

My own take on Yogi in my style.
Stay away from those pic-a-nic baskets yogi!

The Yogi Bear Movie

Currently workin' on...

It comes out in December. Keep an eye out for it! ;)

R&H just hired a dozen or so apprentices last week so a warm congratulations to all of them for making it through the review process and into the program. Welcome, you guys!

Wrapping up on Alvin 2 this weekend.

It's been awesome!!

Just for FUN!

Don't trip... it's just a ball!

Quick rough blocking test I did for fun tonight with an old AM rig I had from class 2. While animating at work I was wondering what the hell would I be doing if I wasn't animating?? Man, I'd be wanting to animate for a living. You gotta' do what you love 'cause doing something besides that isn't worth it.

Keep the dream alive.

ALVIN 2

New Job!

One chapter of my life has just ended today while another is just beginning. Today was my last day at Reel FX. Sadly I'm going to miss all of the great people there, but I'm off to LA to work on some more cool stuff. With such short notice I start at Rhythm and Hues on Monday to work on Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. Even though I'm sad to have left a solid team at RFX, I'm very excited about the opportunities I'll come across in the pages ahead. Good luck to the team at RFX on their current and future projects, and here's hopin' the future ahead of me is a bright one out in Cali. WOOHOO, Rhythm and Hues here I come!

Lookin' forward to it. :)

Pepsi commercial

I as well as Randy Hayes animated a few different bird and butterfly cycles for the motion graphics animator/s on this. We gave them a couple cycles and they used what they wanted. Not much animation to show for it but it was cool to be a part of.
